In business and in life as an entrepreneur, it is always important to know your worth. Know the value that your product / service / company provides and always try to build upon that value. Know the value that you bring to the table in a business deal or a partnership and don’t sell yourself short. If you are confident in what you provide and you are confident in yourself, this is a sure fire way to make sure that you will never undersell yourself.
Adversely, it is also important to know the limits of what you can command, so that you don’t position yourself out of the market.
If you want to find out the worth of your company and the competitors in your industry, it’s time to do some market research. Research your customers and figure out who you are attracting, what their needs are, and how your company helps them. If you find that you generally attract higher end clients compared to your competitors, know that you can command a higher price.
Remember, never sell yourself short.
